Let your politicians know why you support marriage equality.

This letter is amazing.

It's a Letter Writing Amnesty: The ANU Sexuality Department and Young Labor Left ANU noticed that there are a lot of people in the community who care deeply about the issue of equal marriage, but do nothing about it. So many of our friends and family are appalled by the state of our marriage laws, but when push came to shove weren't out there getting their hands dirty and making it happen. Then we realised that really, neither were we. So we're holding an amnesty on all of those long overdue letters to our parliamentarians. We haven't set the penalty or due date in stone, but we're offering some positive encouragement. The first couple of letters I saw touched me in a way that made me want to write 1000 more, so if you send a letter, flick it to us at sexdep.anusa@gmail.com and I'll stick it up here and on the support wall in the ANU Queer Space. (If you're really lazy let me know and I'll post it for you too.)
